EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This study was undertaken through a direction of the 2001 Generll Assembly in the form of HJ 622. The report was prepared by the Chesapeake Bay Local Assistance Department (CBLAD) and presented to the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC) pursuant to HJ 622. The study and this report address the
implications of extending the current Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act, § 10.1-2100 et. seq., and its Regulations to the balance of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
