Bald Eagle Statue

   In March 2005, President Trible's vision of a world class campus became one step closer to reality.  A majestic Bald Eagle Statue, with a 13 feet wing span, was installed in the Potomac River Hall quad.  The statue took over eight months for David Turner to complete, initially starting with a miniature clay model and evolving into a full size model weighing over 1,000 pounds.  A formal dedication ceremony was held on April 2, 2005.
